My dental insurance through work has never been that good. In fact, it's been pretty terrible. But I've always paid for it. Recently the insurance has upgraded the dental services it covers. I am happy to say that my dental insurance isn't that bad now and actually covers things I need to have done. Before I had to pay to have a cavity filled, but now my insurance will be paying for it. I am glad they decided to make a change with their coverage because I was looking for other alternatives.
